The many 'expressions' of the Buffy Fish Owl ( ketupa ketupu ) 45 - 47 cm

It is not so often that one get's to see an owl. Most of the owl species are nocturnal and therefore to see them meant searching in the plantations, forests, paddy fields etc in the pitch darkness armed with headlights and powerful spotlights. . There are also some owls which stays awake in the day time.
